Tapered Roller Bearings

Double Row Tapered Roller Bearings (metric DF)

The inner and outer rings of TRB have tapered raceways, and tapered rollers are installed between the raceways. If the tapered surface is extended, it will eventually converge at a point on the bearing axis. Tapered roller bearings are mainly used to bear combined radial and axial loads, which are dominated by radial loads. The axial load carrying capacity of a bearing is determined by the contact angle, the larger it is, the greater the axial load carrying capacity. Tapered roller bearings are separable bearings. The inner ring with rollers and cage constitutes an inner component, which can be installed separately from the outer ring. This kind of bearing can limit the axial displacement of one side of the shaft or the housing, and does not allow the shaft to tilt relative to the housing hole. Under the action of radial load, additional axial force will be generated. Therefore, generally in the two supports of the bearing, the outer ring and inner ring of the bearing should be installed opposite to each end surface. The main use of this type of bearing: automobile front wheel, rear wheel, transmission, differential, pinion shaft, machine tool spindle, construction machinery, large agricultural machinery, railroad vehicle gear reduction device, steel rolling mill roll neck small reduction device.

Tolerance

Sinofou metric TRB have general tolerances, and also provide Class 6X, 6, 5, 4, and 2 tolerance products, all in compliance with GB/T 307.1.

Sinofou inch TRB have general tolerances, and also can provide Class CL2, CL3, CL0, CL00 tolerance products according to needs.

Radial Clearance
Sinofou single-row TRB have clearance only after installation, and can be determined after adjustment by another bearing positioned in the opposite direction. The radial clearance of double-row and four-row tapered roller bearings is shown in the foreword table.
Cage
TRB generally use steel plate stamping basket cages, but when the size is large, also use turned solid pillar cages.
Allowable angle error
The TRB shaft is inclined relative to the housing hole. If it is inclined, the maximum shall not exceed 2'.

When single-row TRB are used in pairs (the basic dimensions can be different), the additional axial force caused by the radial load must be taken into account when calculating the equivalent dynamic load of the bearing. The additional axial force S of a single-row tapered roller bearing can be calculated approximately as follows:

Both Fr and Fa refer to the total load acting on single-row, double-row and four-row bearings.

Code description

Prefix:

F  For inch TRB, add "F" before the bearing series number to indicate the bearing cage.

G  For inch TRB, G represents the inner space ring or outer space ring of the bearings.

Representation of the inner space ring: add G- before the code of the inner assembly of inch series bearings.

K  For inch TRB, bearing rings and rolling elements or only the rings are made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel.

K1  For inch TRB, bearing rings and rolling elements or only the rings are made of 100CrMo7.

K2  For inch TRB, bearing rings and rolling elements or only the rings are made of ZGCr15.

R  For inch TRB, add "R" before the bearing series number to indicate the tapered roller.

Suffix:

A:   1 .For TRB, the contact angle α and the outer ring raceway diameter D1 are inconsistent with national standards. If there are two or more kinds of α and D1 in one code that are different from the national standards, A, A1, A2… shall be used in turn.

2.Outer ring guide.

A6  For inch TRB, the assembly chamfer is inconsistent with Timken. If there are two or more kinds of assembly chamfers in one code that are different from TIMKEN, A61, A62… shall be used.

B  For TRB, increase the contact Angle (series of an angle increase).

C  For matched TRB, when the axial clearance does not meet the requirements of the ZWZ standard, the average value of the axial clearance shall be directly appended after C.

/CR  For matched TRB, when the radial clearance is required, the average value of radial clearance shall be appended after CR.

D  For double-row TRB, without inner or outer spacer, and for inch tapered roller bearings with unpolished end face, D means double-raceway inner ring or double- raceway outer ring.

/DB  Two TRB are used for back-to-back mounting in pairs.

/DBY  Two single-row TRB for back-to-back mounting, with inner spacers and no outer spacers.

/DF  Two TRB are used for face-to-face mounting in pairs.

D1  Double-row TRB, without inner spacer, end face regrinding.

/HA  The rings, rolling elements and cages or only the rings and rolling elements are made of vacuum smelted bearing steel.

/HC2-15Mn/HC3-G20CrMo

/HC Rings and rolling elements or only the rings or only the rolling elements are made of carburizing steel (/HC-20Cr2Ni4A/HC1-20Cr2Mn2MoA/HC2-15Mn/HC3-G20CrMo).

/HCE  For the metric bearing, /HCE means that the rings and rolling elements are made of high-quality carburizing steel.

/HCER  It means that only the rollers of metric bearings are made of high-quality carburizing steel.

/HCG2I  It means that the outer ring and rolling elements are made of carburizing steel, and the inner ring is made of GCr18Mo.

/HCI  It means that the inner ring is made of carburizing steel.

/HCO  It means that the outer ring is made of carburizing steel.

/HCOI  It means that only the outer ring and inner ring are made of carburizing steel.

/HCOR  It means that the outer ring and rolling elements are made of carburizing steel.

/HCR: Represented as a difference in the same specification, only the rolling element is made of carburizing steel.

/HG: ZGCr15

/HE  The rings, rolling elements and cages or only the rings and rolling elements are made of ESR bearing steel (Army Steel) /HG: ZGCr15.

/HG3-42CrMo/HG4-GCr15SiMn

Rings and rolling elements or only the rings or only the rolling elements are made of other bearing steel (/HG-5GrMnMo/HG1-55SiMoVA/HG2-GCr18Mo/HG3-42CrMo/HG4-GCr15SiMn).

/HG2CR  It means that the rings are made of GCr18Moand rolling elements are made of carburizing steel.

/HG2  For radial bearings, it means that the inner ring is made of GCr18Mo, the outer ring and rolling elements are made of GCr15.

/HG2O  It means that the outer rings are made of GCr18Mo.

/HN  The rings and rolling elements are made of heat-resistance steel (/HN-Cr4Mo4V/HN1-Cr14Mo4/HN2-Cr15Mo4V/HN3-W 18Cr4V).

/HP  The rings and rolling elements are made of beryllium bronze and other antimagnetic materials. When there is a change in the material, it is indicated by an additional number.

/HQ  The rings and rolling elements are made of uncommon materials (/HQ-plastics; /HQ1-ceramal).

/HU  The rings, rolling elements and cages or only the rings and rolling elements are made of non-hardenable stainless steel 1Cr18Ni9Ti.

/HV  The rings, rolling elements and cages or only the rings and rolling elements are made of hardened stainless steel (/HV-9Cr18/HV1-9Cr18Mo).

K  Tapered bore bearing, with taper of 1:12.

K30  Tapered bore bearing, with taper of 1:30.

P  Bearing accuracy grade, followed by a number to represent the specific accuracy grade.

R  The outer ring of the bearing has a stop rib (flange outer ring).

-RS  One side of the bearing is equipped with a skeleton rubber sealing ring (contact type).

-RS1  One side of the bearing is equipped with a skeleton rubber sealing ring (contact type), and the sealing ring material is vulcanized rubber.

-RS2  One side of the bearing is equipped with a skeleton rubber sealing ring (contact type), and the sealing ring material is viton.

-2RS  Bearings with RS seal on both sides.

-2RS1  Bearings with RS1 seal on both sides.

-2RS2  Bearings with RS2 seal on both sides.

-RZ  One side of the bearing is equipped with a skeleton rubber sealing ring (non-contact).

-2RZ  Bearings with RZ seal on both sides.

S  Martensite quenching.

/SP  Ultra-precision level, the dimensional tolerance is equivalent to level 5, and the rotation accuracy is equivalent to level 4.

/S0  The bearing rings are tempered at high temperature and the working temperature can reach 150.

/S1  The bearing rings are tempered at high temperature and the working temperature can reach 200.

/S2  The bearing rings are tempered at high temperature and the working temperature can reach 250.

/S3  The bearing rings are tempered at high temperature and the working temperature can reach 300.

/S4  The bearing rings are tempered at high temperature and the working temperature can reach 350.

SC  Radial bearings with outer cover.

T  When the assembly height of the matched TRB does not meet the requirements of the standard, the assembly height will be added directly after T.

V  Full complement of rolling elements (without cage).

X1  Full complement of rolling elements (without cage).

X2  The outer diameter is non-standard.

X3  The width (height) is non-standard.

X4  The outer diameter and width (height) are non-standard (standard inner diameter). For Internal alignment of non-standard bearings, when the inner diameter size is non-integer and has two or more decimal places, X4 is used to indicate rounding.

-XRS  Four-row TRB, with multiple seals (more than two seals).

Y  The combination of Y and another letter (such as YA, YB) or a number is used to identify non-series changes that cannot be expressed with the existing suffix.

YA  Structural change.

YA1  The outer surface of the bearing outer ring is different from the standard design.

YA2  The inner bore of the bearing inner ring is different from the standard design.

YA3  The end face of the bearing ring is different from the standard design.

YA4  The raceway of the bearing ring is different from the standard design.

YA5  The rolling elements of the bearing are different from the standard design.

YA6  The assembly chamferof the bearing is different from the standard design.

YA7  The rib or guide ring of the bearing is different from the standard design.

YA8  The cage structure is changed.

YA9  The contact angle of the bearing is different from the standard design (angular contact bearing).

YA10  Double-row TRB have oil grooves and oil holes on the inner spacer or the size of the spacer has change.

YAB  The structure and technical requirements are changed at the same time.

YAD  The structure of the same type of bearing has two or more changes at the same time.

YB  Technical requirements change.

YB1  There are coatings on the surface of bearing rings.

YB2  Bearing size and tolerance requirements change.

YB3  Surface roughness requirements of the bearing ring change.

YB4  Heat treatment requirements (such as hardness) change.

YB5  Position tolerance has special requirements.

YBD  For the same type of bearing, the technical requirements have more than two changes at the same time.

-Z  A shield is provided on one side of the bearing.

-2Z  shields are provided on both sides of the bearing.
